Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180c (355f). Then, optionally line your baking tray with baking paper.
Sieve the flour and cocoa in a bowl, add a pinch of salt, mix, and place to the side.
Melt the dark chocolate, kinder chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a barely filled pot of lightly simmering water.
In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar into they have doubled in volume and slightly thickened.
Gently fold in the flour and cocoa mixture one third at a time, being careful not to knock too much air out of the mixture.
Fold in the Kinder Bueno pieces and transfer the brownie mixture into the baking tray. Poke any pieces of Kinder Bueno into the batter to avoid it burning.
Bake for 30-35 minutes for more gooey brownies or 35-40 minutes for more cakey brownies.
Leave to cool for at least 15 minutes before portioning but preferably 30-45 minutes.
Notes
Melting Chocolate - You can also melt the chocolate by using the microwave. Place the chocolate and butter into a microwavable bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals and stir between each one until the chocolate is just melted and glossy.Slicing Kinder Buenos - Freeze the Kinder Bueno bars for 15-30 minutes before slicing them. This makes their creamy filling firmer, giving you a much cleaner cut.Using a 9x9 (23cm by 23cm) baking tray - Increase the ingredient quantities by one third. This will always give you about 16 good-sized brownies.
